Royal Anthos, the trade association of Dutch trading companies in flower bulbs and nursery products, presented this Artblock to the American Department of Foreign Affairs in Washington.

The Artwork shows a Tulip with the impression of an American flag. Behind it a typical Dutch tulip field with freestanding tulips and in it the Dutch flag recognizable. The skyline shows authentic Dutch icons such as windmills and canal houses.

The subtly present drones represent the high level of innovation that the bulb sector strives for with a view to environmental conservation, climate adaptation and biodiversity.

Besides being a beautiful decoration for any environment, the Artblock is also ideal as a promotional gift that is easy to take with you as hand luggage on a plane.

A gem of an assignment!

The private client of this Artworks sent a photo of the wall in his new home and some impressions of his personal areas of interest, including old Chevy's, James Dean and Harley Davidson.

I then made a rough collage of possibilities and placed these 'impression - artworks' with photoshop in the photos on the wall in his house. This gave a good representation of color use and style for the final creation of the Artworks.

During the design process we were in contact to make details such as the Harley emblem, the background design and the composition in such a way that it would fulfill the client's wishes.

…and it did!

The unveiling was truly a beautiful and moving moment.

It is executed in high-gloss sublimation on thickened aluminum with a free-hanging suspension profile. In this way, without the distraction of a frame, where the two Artworks together form a plane on the wall, the power of the images comes into its own: less is more.

This Artwork, and its publication, follows on from the Artblock, which was presented to the USDA, the US Department of State in Washington, within the same framework.

This cool assignment was well received in Norway!
Commissioned by Kuehne + Nagel, I created this artwork that expresses the companies' shared mission: Perishables around the globe. In this case, the salmon from Mowi, the world's largest salmon producer, which K+N brings to its destination worldwide.
The artwork shows the K+N cargo plane and the Mowi salmon in front of an abstract globe in the background.
The inspiration for colours and style I derived from the sleek minimalist design in basic shades of buildings and communication of Kuehne+Nagel. This in combination with the generally preserved use of colour in Scandinavia, matching the natural colour of the salmon.
It's really great to be able to create a work of art in this way!

I made this Mandevilla flower especially commissioned by the grower of these beautiful flowering patio and balcony plants.
A chromaluxe high-gloss version without a frame was chosen. These works can be made with or without a frame, as desired.
The light effect of the high gloss is phenomenal: sparkling bright during the day and soft, full and warm in the evening.

For the 25th anniversary of Robert Kroon's food marketing and communications agency, called 'De Kroon op het werk', I created this custom artwork.

This artwork literally depicts; 'The crowning glory of the work' – where the food component is used as a visualisation of the work.

Given the already prominent colours and exposure of the crown, a choice was made for calm shades of vegetables and fruit. This artwork is executed in high-gloss museum quality sublimation on aluminium with a self-supporting suspension profile.

This Artwork is based on an action photo and I call this technique 'Photo Art'.

I created the car, the background and the texts and advertising expressions separately and then merged them together.

Also look at the reflection of the car in the wet road surface, just that extra accent that gives dynamism to the performance.

It is made in high-gloss sublimation to make the colours shine as brightly as possible.

A literally and figuratively flashy assignment!
