Black Tulip Collection at Keukenhof Lisse

The Black Tulip is iconic in Dutch history and is synonymous with the new life that springs from a bulb every spring. True black does not genetically occur in a Tulip.

In the Golden Age, the search for the Black Tulip led to speculation about tulip bulbs, which literally caused prices per bulb to skyrocket. The -non-existent- unique Black Tulip has therefore gained even more impact and a magical charge.

I have incorporated this iconic black tulip into a completely new Black Tulip Collection.

Keukenhof in Lisse has purchased two impressive works of art from this collection, which hang in the entrance to the Oranje Nassau Pavilion.

American tulip for NATO summit

Proud! A great assignment from Royal Anthos: An 'American tulip' on the occasion of the NATO summit in The Hague.

My enormous artwork shines along the A44 highway, the route for President Trump and his delegations .

The Tulip Artwork is in the red-white-blue colours of America and the Netherlands and underlines the historical bond between the Dutch flower bulb sector and the United States.

Trade association Royal Anthos realises that President Trump is coming to the Netherlands in the context of international security and cooperation within NATO and is taking this opportunity to positively highlight the long-term economic relationship with the USA.

This immense artwork of 8 x 12 meters is visible on the electronic billboard of the Hilton next to the A44 highway in Leiden.
